COVID-19: Updates on Library Services and Operations

All libraries buildings are closed in compliance with provincial public health requirements during the COVID crisis. Although our buildings are closed, our library staff are available online to support research, teaching and learning remotely.

Get help from the Libraries for your online teaching, learning and research: 

Students | Instructors | Researchers

  • There is no need to return your books at this time. 

  • All loans will be extended, and no late fines charged, including for Interlibrary Loan items. 

  • If you wish to return your books on the St. George campus, you can do so using the book return slot at Robarts Library.

  • If you wish to return books to the UTSC Library, please contact UTSC Help

  • Interlibrary Loan will continue for eresources only. 

  • Robarts LibraryUTM Library and UTSC Library offer a Curbside Pickup Service for some print books. Items from Gerstein Science Information Centre and Downsview high-volume storage facility can be now requested for pickup at Robarts Library. Other college libraries are planning curbside pickup services. Check individual college library websites for more information.  

  • Retrievals from closed libraries will not be possible. 

  • Are you a student with no computer or wifi access? We can help! 

  • Need access to software on library computers?  The RemoteLab provides access to the software and services normally provided via the computers in the Libraries. 

  • For UTSC students, access to the Bladen Wing labs and study space is available through the ARC Quad entrance. Space is limited.
