Before you visit

Check the University of Toronto's Accessibility webpage for building access notices, including updates about building closures, construction projects, elevator outages, and other temporary disruptions.
Find accessible entrances and washrooms across all three campuses using the University of Toronto campus map.
Locate accessible parking:
- St. George Campus
- Mississauga Campus
- Scarborough Campus
Find and book an accessible study space. Narrow results using filters including "accessible seat / space", dimmable lighting, etc.
Bring your TCard. You'll need your current TCard to:
- enter the Robarts Library, the Gerstein Science Information Centre and the OISE Library,
- to borrow library materials, and
- to print or photocopy.

Visit the TCard Office website for further information on how to obtain a TCard, including how to receive a Braille sticker on your TCard.

Once you're here

Library staff are happy to assist with information about accessible features, including height-adjustable tables, adaptive software on computers, and other available amenities.
Consider informing library staff when you arrive and leave if you may need assistance during an emergency. This can help ensure you receive support in the event of an evacuation.
Accessibility may be limited in some parts of the library for those using mobility devices. Please reach out to us. We’re happy to work with you to find solutions that support your visit.
