The Map & Data Library has for many years been engaged in projects to generate modern datasets through digitization of historical collections and records. The majority of these projects were led by Marcel Fortin (Associate Chief Librarian for Digital Scholarship and Technology - formerly GIS and Map Librarian and Head of the Map & Data Library).
