The Engineering & Computer Science Library has 30 computer workstations.

Computers cannot be booked. Check Information Commons for a real time listing of available computers
All computers require a UTORid and password
Computers are connected to the internet and have Microsoft 365 and other software installed
4 workstations include flatbed scanners, Adobe Creative Suite and OCR software.

Wifi

Students, staff, and faculty have access to the wireless network at U of T. Information Commons has more information if you are having trouble connecting.

The Engineering & Computer Science library has mobile Wifi hotspots that you can borrow for 72 hours.

Printing, Copying, and Scanning

You can print, copy, and scan at the Engineering & Computer Science Library. The photocopier, printer, and flatbed scanners are all located on the main floor.

You can use the photocopier to copy and scan documents. You need:

TCard with TBucks funds or a TCard+ Guest Card.
Copying is 10 cents per printed page.
You must save scans to a USB stick. The Service Desk has USB sticks available for borrowing.

The Engineering & Computer Science Library has 4 flatbed scanners attached to computer workstations on the main floor. Scanning is free but you need an active UTORid to use the computer.

The printer is connected to all public computers. Instructions on how to print are available in the library. You need:

TCard with TBucks funds or a TCard+ Guest Card.
Printing is 15 cents per printed page.
You can print wirelessly from your laptop. You can find instructions on how to by the printer on the main floor.
