The OISE Library's Curriculum Resource Collection (CR) has over 36,000 resources that support K-12 teaching in subject areas in the Ontario curriculum. CR includes a variety of resources, including:

Scope of the collection

Chronological coverage: The collection includes materials from the 1970s onward. It also includes textbooks approved for use in Ontario since 2002.

Geographical coverage: Most materials focus on Canadian content. The collection also includes resources from other English-speaking countries, such as the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia.

Language: Most resources are in English, but there is also a strong collection of materials teaching in French as well as French as an additional language. We are also building a collection of teaching materials published in First Nations, Inuit, and Métis languages.

Format: The collection contains a variety of formats including monographs, DVDs, kits, hands-on manipulatives, over-sized materials, and puppets.

Collection strengths: Ontario textbooks, Canadian material.
