The Makerspace is a space for hands-on learning, creativity, and experimentation.

You can use tools and technologies to create projects, explore new ideas, and build skills in a supportive environment.

Staff can support you as you learn new tools and develop projects.

Visit the space

The Makerspace is located in room AC256 at U of T Scarborough Library.

You must become a Makerspace user prior to using its space (including the Podcast Room and One Button Studio) and equipment.

Hours

Tuesday to Thursday: 9 am to 4 pm (closed 12 pm to 1 pm)

Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: closed

Workshops

The Makerspace offers workshops on topics such as 3D printing and microcontrollers.

You can register through the Makerspace workshops calendar.

Students who complete a series of workshops and a reflection may be eligible for a co-curricular credit called Digital Creative Technologies through the Co-Curricular Record.
